1. About this policy
This policy applies to the public website at reynex.co.uk and is provided by Reynex Remote Systems Ltd.
Our separate Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through enquiries and ordinary business activities.
2. What cookies and storage technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website may place on a browser or device. Cookies can remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software-development kits and other methods that store information on, or access information from, a device.
These technologies can serve different purposes. Some are essential to provide a service requested by a user, while others may be used for preferences, statistics, personalisation or advertising. UK rules generally require clear information about their use and, where no legal exception applies, consent before they are activated.
3. What the website currently uses
For an ordinary public visit, reynex.co.uk currently does not set cookies or use browser storage. The site has also been configured not to load Google Fonts from Google and not to run WordPress’s browser-based emoji compatibility test.
| Category | Current position | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Public-site cookies | None currently set | The public pages do not currently place cookies during a normal visit. |
| Analytics | Not used | We do not currently use Google Analytics or another visitor analytics platform. |
| Advertising and profiling | Not used | We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling. |
| Browser storage | Not currently used | The public pages do not currently write information to local storage or session storage. |
| External fonts | Not used | Fonts are not requested from Google or another external font library. |
| Embedded media and social plugins | Not used | The site does not currently embed YouTube, mapping, advertising or social-media tracking components. |
A consent banner would not give visitors a meaningful choice while the site has no optional cookies or storage to accept or reject. We will reassess this if the website’s technology changes.
4. The project-enquiry form
The project-enquiry form is provided through WordPress and Fluent Forms. The public form does not currently require a cookie or browser-storage identifier in order to submit an enquiry.
When you submit the form, the information you enter is sent to Reynex and stored as an enquiry record. This is personal-information processing rather than cookie use. Further details—including why we use the information and how long it is normally retained—are provided in our Privacy Policy.
5. Server and security logs
Our website host may create server, access and security logs when pages or files are requested. These records can include an IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device information, response status and security events.
Server logs are held on the website infrastructure rather than placed on your device, so they are not cookies. They may nevertheless contain personal information and are used where necessary for website delivery, security, fault diagnosis, fraud prevention and service reliability. Their handling is covered by our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party and administrative services
The public pages currently make no direct requests to third-party analytics, advertising, font, video, mapping or social-media services.
SiteGround provides website and email hosting. WordPress, Elementor and Fluent Forms provide website and form functionality from Reynex’s own website domain. These services may process technical information on our behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
Restricted WordPress administration and webmail areas are not part of the ordinary public website. They may use authentication and security cookies when authorised administrators sign in. Those cookies are necessary to provide and protect the requested administrative service.
7. Your choices and browser controls
There are currently no optional cookie categories to switch on or off on the public Reynex website. You can still use your browser settings to view, restrict or delete cookies and site data. Browser providers normally explain these controls in their privacy or help settings.
Blocking all cookies may affect sign-in or form functionality on websites that rely on essential cookies, although the Reynex public enquiry form does not currently depend on one.
For current UK regulatory information, you can read the Information Commissioner’s Office guidance on storage and access technologies.
8. Future changes
We may add or change website features as Reynex develops. If we introduce analytics, embedded services, advertising or another technology that requires consent, we will:
- update this policy and the technology information;
- introduce an appropriate consent or preference mechanism before non-exempt technologies are activated;
- make refusing optional technologies as straightforward as accepting them; and
- provide an accessible way to change or withdraw a choice.
We will review this policy periodically and update the date shown at the top when material changes are made.
